Description
Glennhouse Getaway is an elevated nature escape that is conveniently located between downtown South Haven, Douglas and Saugatuck, MI. It is beautifully surrounded by a private beach, sand dunes, driftwood, beach stones, and Lake Michigan. Enjoy the wrap around spacious deck, gameroom, the sunset on the beach (only 7min walk) or the stars at night by the firepit. Any meals can be enjoyed on our three season porch as well.

Cook your meals with ease as all kitchenware is provided (pots, pans, bowls, utensils, glassware, dishes, silverware, linens, bath and hand towels, washcloths, and soap), as well as a coffee bar. Starter packs of shampoo, conditioner, laundry detergent, paper towels, and dish soap are also provided. All rooms are completely furnished and brand-new bedding and pillows are provided. Challenge your friends to a game of Ping Pong, basketball or darts in the newly added game room!
Glennhouse Getaway is located in Glenn Haven Shores. This neighborhood is a private and quaint area in South Haven that has it's own private beach and tennis court!
Directions to the beach and information to the nearest gas station, grocery store, coffee shop and more are all provided in the house manual.
Please be sure to read the house manual upon arrival as it details checkin/checkout information, things to do (wineries, golf courses, trails and more), and house rules. The beach is about a 10min walk (directions are on the manual). The game room is in the detached garage- it is not temperature controlled.View More

Lived staying at this Airbnb! Host was responsive and the place was very cozy! Walking distance to the private beach and not too far of a drive to south haven restaurants! We greatly enjoyed our stay, the house was clean and spacious. The screened in porch was our favorite place! The kitchen had all the supplies we needed and our family of seven adults fit perfectly at the dining table. The beach was wonderful and within walking distance. The location of the house was perfect and close to both Grand Haven and Saugatuck. <br/>Owners were responsive and we would recommend! Our stay was perfect for our group--grandparents, two couples, and a 2.5-year-old. There was plenty of room, and we loved the large screened-in deck, the small garage converted to a game room, sunsets at the end of the street, and the easy walk to the private neighborhood beach (the steep hill wasn't a challenge). We even enjoyed the neighborhood tennis/pickleball court (with paddles and balls provided), short runs, and toddler-friendly walks and balance-bike rides with very few cars. The house is an easy distance to South Haven, Saugatuck and State Parks for hikes, shopping and ice cream cones, paddle boat rental for a day, and peach picking at a local farm. A great visit for our group. The hosts were very helpful. Thank you. This was our first “family” vacation with our grown children and grandchild, and everything far exceeded our expectations. Tom and Elizabeth’s beautiful home was clean, spacious, tucked away on a wooded lot with the only noise being the sound of the waves on the lake below. Days started and ended all of us together on the screened-in deck for coffee or cocktails, and the highlight for our grandson was the “awesome” game room! We can’t thank our hosts enough, and we’re already planning our next, longer stay
