The space
Inside you’ll find a bright, welcoming living area upstairs plus a newly finished lower-level lounge that gives your group extra breathing room — something you don’t always get in lake cottages.
The layout works well for families, couples traveling together, or friends who want shared space *and* privacy.
Out back, the screened porch becomes your favorite hangout — coffee in the morning, cocktails in the evening, and everything in between. We also include a gas grill with propane and outdoor seating for all your summer grilling needs.
Guest access
Guests will have exclusive access to the entire property, including the outdoor patio and backyard. Check in smoothly any time after 3 PM using our secure smart lock system. Free early check-in and late checkout offered when available!

Such a quiet and peaceful area. Lake access was easy to find! Was a little sketchy, the door off the kitchen to the stairs had a key stuck in the lock so felt a little uneasy about that. Other than that it was a beautiful home and a beautiful lake! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tom’s cottage. It was nicely updated and walkable to our family’s lake home down the street. We visited Michigan on a house hunting expedition and our realtor suggested we stay in Coloma, as it was centrally located to where we were looking to buy. Absolutely beautiful house and neighborhood! Right across the street from the lake and we were able to take long walks everywhere. We even walked down the street to a local joint called the Bend (I highly suggest Burger Wednesdays). There was a slight miscommunication about the available amenities, but it was clearly up almost immediately and to our satisfaction. In fact, it was such a nice stay that we considered buying a house in the area, about 3 minutes away. Overall a great stay at a wonderful place.
