Beautiful place in a beautiful location.
I do believe at some point a terrible storm mustve came through and tore the outdoor area up some. Some lose stones/tiles in back area, tore down trees in back (not in porch area but behind the fence- they seem to be working to clean up) Also patio furniture seemed pretty tore up but this didnt effect us much due to some chilly days during our stay.
Overall this was an amazing place- a little more than our price range but I would definitely stay again! Second time staying and would stay again. This was a little quaint piece of winter heaven! We shared this house with 4 couples and there was plenty of space for everyone to be together socially, but also have their own area. There are plenty of big, comfortable beds and so many bathrooms! Not to mention our group played every possible game available in the game room.
I imagine this house in the summer is awesome with the close proximity to the beach and the outdoor fire pit. We did enjoy the hot tub and the serenity. We will be booking again. We booked for a 40th Birthday Trip and the house exceeded expectations. The house actually felt larger than it appeared in the pictures! There were 10 of us staying in the house and we never felt crowded. The bathrooms were large and clean. The setup for the Jack and Jill bathroom had separate vanities which was nice for the couples that shared the upstairs bedrooms. The basement was very large, and the game tables were in great condition. There were several tv's for watching different sports at once which was great for our group. The Sonos sound system was nice and could be played separately in the game room from the theater room. We all drove separate vehicles and there is room for 5 cars to park. The hot tub was new and very clean. It was also located under a covered porch so even though it rained we were still able to enjoy it. There were plenty of clean towels, cleaning supplies, kitchen utensils, cook ware, and dish ware for everyone to use.
